With your first gynaecological test:
If you have physical abnormalities, developmental disorder, menstrual cycle, decide to start a new contraceptive method or have had sex, you should see your gynaecologist

How to prepare for your first gynaecological examination:
No special preparation is necessary, it is only advisable to remember the date of your last menstrual period and keep a calendar if there are disorders. If you are doing an annual routine check avoid going when you are menstruated as in this case cytology cannot be taken correctly.
Otherwise it is not a problem if you are spotting. A normal gynaecological examination, should not take more than 10 or 15 minutes, and Ginefem specialists will take special care to explain the usual procedure and perform a painless examination.
