Dr. Alfonso Ángel Quesada López-Fe was born in Jaén on August 3, 1965.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada, class 1983-1989.
Specialist via MIR in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with a training period of 4 years between January 1991 and December 1994 at the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria (HUNSC)
Hired as an Area Specialist Physician by the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital (HUNSC) from November 1995 to date, obtaining a place in property on the March 1999 call, with first place in the examination phase of the contest- opposition.
Among the various work groups in which he participates, he begins as a teaching collaborator at the University of La Laguna in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Toxicology and Legal and Forensic Medicine, Obstetrics and Forensic Knowledge Area. Gynecology since January 2006.
Resident Tutor in the HUNSC Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty since February 2009.
Since the beginning, he has developed his care activity in a fundamental way in the area of Gynecological Oncology and Pathology of the lower genital tract, forming part of the Gynecological Oncology section of the HUNSC since 1995 and in the Gynecological tumors committee since its creation. Co-author of the current Cervical Pathology clinical guidelines at the HUNSC Gynecology and Obstetrics Service.
Member of the Oncological Gynecology Section of the SEGO and of the Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy Association, accredited as a Colposcopist by said association since 2007.
Author in written and oral publications in relation to oncological pathology, of the lower genital tract and HPV infection as well as speaker and / or professor in doctoral courses at the University of La Laguna, in courses and meetings of the Canary Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and various courses related to their specialty.Currently he collaborates with members of the HUNSC, HUC and the College of Physicians of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the organization and annual direction of the Dispute Courses in Gynecology and Obstetrics, which have been held monthly from October to June of each school year during the last 3 years.
